Finding a therapist can be confusing...
You’re reading about strangers online, trying to decide who you might actually want to talk to about very personal things. I hope this page gives you a sense of who I am and what therapy with me might feel like.
A bit more about me...
I’m a real human therapist — warm, and curious. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and honest. I ask questions, notice patterns, and sometimes challenge things when it’s helpful. We’ll probably laugh along the way.

I’m also neurodiverse (ADHD, diagnosed in my mid-thirties). Figuring this out has helped to make sense of my life and learn to not live "against the grain". So I get how brains can work differently and how frustrating that can feel.

I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of the couch — I started therapy at age 17, have worked with several therapists, and these experiences have changed my life completely. That’s what inspired me to become a therapist myself. I'm grateful that now I can pay it forward.

Things I Believe About Therapy

-
Therapy works best when it’s collaborative
-
It is rarely a quick fix
-
Growth is rarely linear — setbacks are normal
-
Sometimes the work you need isn’t what you expected
-
Humans are adaptable; change is possible
-
Not every therapist is the right fit for every person
-
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you or giving advice
-
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting
-
While there is no "right way" to do therapy, it does require intentional effort outside of session
Life Outside Therapy

I live in Prince Edward County, Ontario, enjoying a slower, simpler pace of life. I love gardening, hiking, skiing, puzzles, crafts, movies, yoga, and my two cats, who occasionally wrestle outside my office door.

I grew up partly in Toronto and partly on a farm, and I’ve traveled and lived overseas. Those experiences gave me a broader perspective on culture, identity, and the many different ways people make sense of their lives.
